This campaign strongly supports what I believe in; it believes in helping others and to make a change in peoples lives. So many Canadian's are suffering in silence from abuse, and this facility will give them a voice, this facility will give them a place to be heard and understood by those who don't know what it is like to be abused. It is said 1/3 women are sexually/physically assaulted in their life time, and I am sad to say I know far too women who have been sexually assaulted either as a child or in their early aldult years. I am hoping to make a difference. A difference that will give people, who are suffering from physical and emotional abuse, a safe place. Winning this trip would be life changing. 2 years ago I was a part of a Humanitarian trip that opened my eyes to how much of a difference one person can make in a small community. There is nothing I would love more than to give a hand to those who feel like there are no hands left to grab. Please donate and help create a place where safety comes first.
